CAI’s New Jersey Regional Council (NJRC) and New Jersey Legislative Action Committee (NJ LAC) were pleased to host its annual Legal & Legislative Update at PJ Whelihan’s in Cherry Hill, NJ on Wednesday, September 11. Joining us to discuss foreclosure reform and many other issues important to New Jersey mutltifamily property owners, board members, and community managers was State Senator Troy Singleton (D-7). Senator Singleton was the driving force behind a package of foreclosure reforms signed into law earlier this year by Governor Murphy (D-NJ).
Lisa Rayca, CMCA, AMS (Associa Mid-Atlantic, AAMC), a member of the NJRC and liasion to the NJ LAC served as moderator for the event which also featured NJ LAC Chairman George Greatrex, Esq. (Shivers Gosnay & Greatrex), NJ LAC Vice Chairman A. Christopher Florio, Esq. (Stark & Stark), CAI Pennsylvania & Delaware Valley Chapter Board of Directors Treasurer Jonathan H. Katz, Esq. (Hill Wallack, LLP), and Michele Jaker (MBI), NJ LAC’s lobbyist.
