Sessions & Speakers

Opening Session: Empathy – Leading with The Head and the Heart
Presented by Paul D. Grucza, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, CAM Leadership Institute

As the owner of your successful management enterprise, many times we fall into the trap of focusing more on the management side of the business instead of the development side of the business and truly acting as the company CEO.  How does this happen and why?  We'll find out in this very interactive and engaging session.

Managing Organizational Change
Panelists & Moderator: Mike McNulty, CMCA, AMS, Community Management Advisors, Inc., AAMC; Tony Nardone, AMS, PCAM, Corner Property Management; Moderated by David Velasco, The Baldwin Group

Organizations that fail to change may fail to survive. Organizational change, and uncertainty, is everywhere - whether it is adapting to new technology, onboarding a new CEO, experiencing a significant growth in business, expanding to new markets, or going through a merger or acquisition, how your company manages that change will determine its success or failure. This panel discussion will focus on strategies and best practices leaders use to navigate significant transformation, including:

  • The importance of clear communication
  • Aligning organizational culture with change initiatives
  • Managing resistance among employees and maintaining employee engagement
  • Balancing short-term challenges with long-term vision.

Incorporating AI into Your Company Operations
Panelists & Moderator: TBA, moderated by Greg Smith, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, Director of Learning and Development, Associa

Artificial intelligence can be as basic as using ChatGPT to draft notices and and enhance overall communication or as complex as using AI to talk to clients about service issues, and everything in between. Organizations that don't adopt AI may be left behind. This panel discussion will examine use cases for artificial intelligence in the community association management space, including specific techniques being used by management companies right now, and provide ideas on how you can incorporate AI into your real world operations.

Think Tank on Managing Organizational Change
Facilitated by Greg Smith, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, Director of Learning and Development, Associa

In small groups at your tables, attendees will engage in a brainstorming session on the topic of how AI can be incorporated into the operations of your own organizations based on the ideas and topics presented in the previous session.
