Leadership & Emotional Intelligence
Leadership and emotional intelligence go hand in hand as a Community Manager. Without emotional intelligence, CAMs could spiral down very quickly halting effective communication with the Board of Directors along with Homeowners. As CAMs we have to see out the Community Documents and what the Board directives are and sometimes, its not easy or Homeowners will argue. Knowing how to control your emotions will make you a strong Manager, leader the BOD looks to for recommendations. Not only the BOD and your community, but your colleagues will as well.
